Our new bees have just moved into their new home and we've launched a new webcam that means you can watch their activity LIVE 24/7!
The webcam view of our new bee hive
Installed by the team at Gorleston Apiary and decorated by the team at Reprezent Project along with students from the local St. George's school, our new Pavilion beehive is now being live streamed to the world.
Whilst activity may be a little limited, Jamie from Gorleston Apiary will be popping up online every now and then to check on the hive and help to educate us all on how the bees live.
To celebrate, we've launched a competition to name our new Queen Bee - simply comment on our Facebook post and you could be in with a chance to win some Gorleston Apiary honey and a free family pantomime ticket to this year's production of Dick Whittington!
Alex Youngs, Chair of Trustees said that "The beehive is a wonderful thing to have up on our roof space and I'm so please and proud that we've managed to build such a community feel around the project already.
"We'll be adding a load of information to our website to help educate everyone on the importance of bees and the sustainability that they represent. Watch this ~space~ webcam!"
The feed can be found at pavtheatre.com/bees.
We're raising vital funds to repair our roof and keep our building weathertight, we are self funded so every penny really does count! ›
