The Gorleston Pavilion Trust is shining a light on the importance of organ donation by turning the Pavilion Theatre in Gorleston pink this September, in unison with other landmark buildings across the borough of Great Yarmouth, including the iconic Town Hall.

We teamed up with Gro Plants (Bells Road) and Gorleston Apiary to run a competition with local primary school students for them to design their own plant pot to feature in our rooftop apiary.

The Gorleston Pavilion Trust is delighted to announce the appointment of its new Chair of Trustees, local business leader and long time supporter of the Pavilion Tom Haczewski, who succeeds Alex Youngs (the trust's new Chief Executive) in the role.

The Great Yarmouth Borough Council development management committee has unanimously approved the theatre's listed building consent application for vital repair works to the roof.

Following on from the success of our 2023 Pantomime 'Dick Whittington', we're holding auditions on Monday 19th February for the principal roles of our 2024 professional production of 'Cinderella'.

The vibrant string group based in Norfolk have played with major British Orchestras such as the BBC Symphony Orchestra, recorded with bands such as Blur and The Cranberries and toured the globe.

During the 2023 Norfolk Arts Awards, Stuart was presented with the Peter Wilson Special Recognition award for a lifetime of devotion to the Pavilion Theatre in Gorleston.

The long time youth theatre group directed by Sheila Pascall has been running weekly classes and annual performances at the Pavilion for over 2 decades and LAMDA exams are part of the group's educational offering.

Isabella’s Dance and Musical Theatre Company donated all profits from their 2022 showcase to the Gorleston Pavilion Trust which has recently laid a new stage floor and is now planning a full refurbishment of the Pavilion's upstairs studio.

Our new bees have just moved into their new home and we've launched a new webcam that means you can watch their activity LIVE 24/7!

We're extremely proud to have worked alongside Heart2Heart Norfolk to fundraise for a brand new defibrillator to be installed outside of the Pavilion.

We're very proud to have launched another great season of FREE open-air bandstand concerts in Gorleston this Summer.

We're looking for a group of young people to create a new event targeted at your own age group that the theatre may never have hosted before, supported by a series of workshops over the Summer as part of the 2023 Heritage Open Days Festival.

We are aware of the building works currently taking place in the bandstand gardens opposite the theatre and have some updates to share in relation to this.

Healthwatch Norfolk, which represents the voice of patients and passes them on to NHS and care decision-makers, is holding another one of its Live events and this time it's right here at the Pavilion Theatre on Thursday 27th April.

The Gorleston Bandstand has now been brought into the Pavilion Theatre family and to celebrate we're launching a brand new season of free Sunday afternoon Summer Bandstand concerts.

We're very excited to present our brand new 2022 What's On programme, full of fantastic plays, musicals, tribute shows, pantomimes and much more!

In partnership with Anglia Technology and Visit Great Yarmouth, we have set up a webcam that will stream live pictures of the Gorleston Seafront view from our balcony, including the Pier Gardens, bandstand and glorious beach.
