We are utterly devastated to announce that Kevin Lynch - our beloved theatre director, friend and head of our Pavilion family and husband and partner to Stuart of nearly 50 years - died peacefully in the early hours of this morning (Thursday 19th January) with Stuart, Alex and Pickle by his side. He was just over a month away from celebrating his 76th birthday.

Kevin was never one for having a fuss made over him, so in line with his wishes he will have a private cremation and we will be announcing a way for us all to gather together to honour and celebrate his life in the coming weeks.

We will be opening a book of condolence at the theatre box office for anyone who wishes to share a memory or a thought of Kevin. Our opening hours are Monday - Thursday 11am - 3pm.

As you can imagine, we are all absolutely heartbroken at Kevin's untimely passing and realise that this will come as a huge shock to many. Please can we ask that you give us the time and space to support Stuart at this difficult time and to adjust to our new lives without the man who gave so much to us all and lived a life so full.

Rest in peace now, dear Kevin. We will miss you completely and the Pavilion will never be the same without you.
