We are thrilled to announce that we have been chosen by Heritage Open Days to take part in their 2023 'New Wave' training programme, which is designed to help organisations to develop new and innovative events with and for young adults.
The Pavilion theatre in Gorleston
Whilst the theatre has always taken part in the annual Heritage Open Days festival by running free backstage tours of the building, this will mark the first time that the team have tried to do something new and different.
Trustee of the Pavilion Alex Youngs said of the programme:
"We absolutely love taking part in the annual Heritage Open Days festival as it gives us a chance to really showcase what a beautiful and important building the Gorleston Pavilion is and to talk about our exciting plans for the future.
"The funding and expertise from the New Wave programme will help us to put together new and exciting creative events for young adults to run alongside our existing backstage tours and hopefully this will inspire a new generation of people to learn about and enjoy the fantastic heritage we have in our town."
The theatre is now calling on anyone interested in being part of the programme , particularly young people, to get in touch to register their interest by emailing newwave@pavtheatre.com.
We're raising vital funds to repair our roof and keep our building weathertight, we are self funded so every penny really does count! ›
